A regal image of Christ the King, crowned and holding a sceptre, raises His hand in blessing. The Latin inscription around the front reads "Christe Rex Ave", "Hail Christ the King".
The back features a chalice and host, with the words "Lux, Pax", "Light, Peace." Two rings of Latin inscriptions around the edge read , "Per Ipsum, Et Cum Ipso, Et In Ipso", "Through Him, With Him, In Him"; and "Societas Domini Nostri Jesu Christi Regis", "Society of Our Lord Jesus Christ the King".
